Huzhou Lawyers Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) was established in 1995. It is a social organization legal person composed of all lawyers and law firms in Huzhou City. It is a self-discipline organization of lawyers and provides services and management to the lawyer industry according to law.

The association accepts the supervision and guidance of Huzhou Municipal Bureau of justice and the guidance of Zhejiang Lawyers Association, and independently carries out its work according to law.

The association accepts the leadership of Huzhou lawyers Committee of the Communist Party of China and organizes party activities and Party building in the lawyers industry.

The supreme authority of the association is the lawyers' Congress, and the Council is the permanent body of the Congress. The Standing Council exercises the functions and powers of the Council when the Council is not in session; The board of supervisors is the permanent supervisory body of the board, and the Secretariat is the daily office of the board.

In order to give full play to the Self-discipline Function of the industry, the association has set up a youth lawyers' branch, a public lawyers' branch and a women lawyers' Association. There are 8 special working committees, including development and planning, business and guidance, assessment and membership affairs, publicity and communication, participation in politics and discussion, rights and interests protection, ethics and discipline, finance and public interest, which are responsible for performing various special duties of the association. At the same time, the association has also established 10 professional committees in criminal, civil and commercial affairs, administration, finance and securities, intellectual property and foreign affairs, enterprise reorganization and bankruptcy management, legal counsel, marriage and family and labor security, construction projects and real estate, environment and resource protection, which are responsible for conducting business discussions and exchanges and guiding lawyers in this city to carry out various legal services.

According to the lawyers law and the articles of association of Huzhou Lawyers Association, the association mainly performs the following duties:

£¨17£© Perfecting the liability insurance system for lawyers;

£¨18£© Coordinate the relationship with the legislative, law enforcement and judicial organs, and put forward opinions and suggestions;
