Lishui lawyers association was established in May 1998. It is a self-discipline industry organization of lawyers in Lishui. At present, there are 24 law firms, including 18 partnership offices, 2 state-owned assets management offices and 4 individual offices, with a total of 173 lawyers.

Lishui Lawyers Association implements the president office meeting system. The association has a secretariat, which is responsible for implementing the decisions and resolutions of the lawyers' Congress, the Council and the Standing Council, and undertaking the daily work of the Association; At the same time, there are 8 special committees including disciplinary and discipline committee, rights protection committee, assets and Finance Committee, external publicity and liaison committee, cultural construction and member management committee, business guidance and Vocational Training Committee, minor protection committee and public lawyers Committee, which perform relevant duties of the Municipal Lawyers Association.

In order to standardize the work of the lawyers association, our association has formulated a series of systems, including the rules of procedure for the president's office meeting of Lishui Lawyers Association, the financial management measures of Lishui Lawyers Association, the rules of procedure for the Council of Lishui Lawyers Association, the rules of procedure for the Executive Council of Lishui Lawyers Association, and the organizational measures for the special committee of Lishui Lawyers Association.

According to the provisions of the lawyers law and the articles of association of the lawyers association, the Lishui Lawyers Association currently mainly performs the following duties: (1) supporting lawyers to practice according to law and safeguarding lawyers' legitimate rights and interests; £¨2£© To formulate and supervise the implementation of the lawyer's practice standards and the lawyer industry management system; £¨3£© To guide the standardized management of law firms; £¨4£© Summarize and exchange lawyers' work experience to improve the overall practice level; £¨5£© To be responsible for the education, inspection and supervision of lawyers' professional ethics and practice discipline; £¨6£© Be responsible for the daily management and registration of lawyers and law firms, and be entrusted by the judicial administrative organs to conduct the annual inspection and registration of law firms and lawyers; £¨7£© Formulate the lawyer education planning outline, carry out the lawyer's pre practice training and post practice continuing education, and formulate the training outline and teaching materials for practicing lawyers; £¨8£© Handling complaints against lawyers and law firms; £¨9£© Mediate disputes between lawyers and law firms in their practice activities; £¨10£© Publicizing lawyers' work and publishing lawyers' publications; £¨11£© Organize lawyers and law firms to conduct external exchanges; £¨12£© To organize lawyers' welfare undertakings; £¨13£© Establish and improve the liability insurance system for lawyers to ensure that lawyers practice according to law; £¨14£© Coordinate relations with relevant judicial, law enforcement and administrative organs, and put forward legislative and judicial suggestions; £¨15£© Other duties entrusted by the judicial administrative department and the lawyers association at a higher level; £¨16£© Other duties specified by laws and regulations.
