Wenzhou Intermediate Court
       
 

Wenzhou intermediate court was established in November 1950 and was then called Wenzhou Branch of Zhejiang Provincial Court. In 1953, Wenzhou Branch was transformed into Wenzhou area intermediate court of Zhejiang Province. In July 1955, Wenzhou city intermediate court was established. In 1981, Wenzhou city intermediate court and Wenzhou area intermediate court merged to establish Wenzhou intermediate court.

On January 19, 2010, the new building of Wenzhou intermediate court was officially opened. The building is located at No. 512, Shifu Road, Wenzhou City, covering an area of about 25 mu and a building area of nearly 40000 square meters. The building is 16 floors high, of which 2-5 floors are the trial area, with an area of more than 20000 square meters. The 6th to 16th floors are the office area, with an area of more than 10000 square meters. There are 23 large, medium and small courts in the trial area. All courts have introduced modern information technology, and the whole process of audio and video recording can be realized during the trial. Each floor of the trial area is equipped with a party rest area, a public prosecutor's room, a jury room, a mediation room, a lawyer's reading room and a witness room.

Wenzhou intermediate court has 307 personnel, including 265 administrative personnel and 42 professional personnel. There are 26 functional departments, namely: office, cadre and personnel department, publicity and education department, organ Party committee, news and publicity department, case filing court, criminal trial chamber 1, criminal trial chamber 2, civil trial chamber 1, civil trial chamber 2, civil trial chamber 3, civil trial chamber 4, civil trial chamber 5, civil trial chamber 6, administrative trial chamber 1 (Compensation Committee Office), administrative trial chamber 2 There are 25 courts and offices including the trial supervision division, the execution division, the execution supervision division, the research office, the trial management office, the judicial police detachment, the judicial expertise division, and the judicial administrative equipment management division. At the same time, there are discipline inspection teams and supervision rooms, and the political department is retained.

There are 11 grass-roots courts in the city, 29 courts and 80 itinerant trial stations. The courts in the city have 2041 personnel, including 1711 administrative personnel and 330 professional personnel.
